Veiled Truths is a series of multiple comics stories, which all take place within the same world. Each on has its own cast and plot and can stand on its own. Sorcery 101 was the first comic to lauch, followed by Strange Someone, and there will be more to come. Each story has a begining and an end, but they vary in length. When I started Sorcery 101, I posted a promise to the readers that applies to all of the other Veiled Truths comics as well. But since most of those I am not drawing all I can do to ensure they update on time is bug the artist more.

Sorcery 101

Sorcery 101 follows the adventures of Danny Gunn, a chainsmoker who is trying to learn sorcery. After he finishes up are his day job as a highschool history teacher, Danny visits Pat, an angsty vampire, who has been forced into instructing Dannys magic lessons by Seth, an old sophopathic vampire whom Dannys life is magically bond to. Between this and helping his geeky werewolf friend Brad and his mage friend Ally take care of their daughter Rebecca, Danny has his hands full.

Strange Someone

Strange Someone is about Liz Eder, a frustrated writer, who has hired a nurse to help her gain inspiration for her romance novel set in a hospital. Instead, she got Jeff, who is while helpful is the single weirdest person she has ever met. She gets caught up in the weird sicuations around him and really just wants her book finished.

As We Were

Lope and Suzanne have been working together as demon hunters for a long time. For the past several years, Suzanne has been hunting a vampire who scarred her face and Lope has been tagging along in hopes of learning more about humans. Now Lope is being called back home sooner than he thought and Suzanne for the first time gets to see the land where Lope grew up.

From Scratch

Big companies got to start somewhere. Alpha Phoenix wasn’t always the juggernaut it is during Sorcery 101. This short story covers one of its first jobs before they had enough control to make sure things went smoothly.
