Big companies got to start somewhere. Alpha Phoenix wasn’t always the juggernaut it is during Sorcery 101. This short story covers one of its first jobs before they had enough control to make sure things went smoothly.
	Aaron Harper Aaron is a very grumpy vampire who is still getting a handle on what he is.
	Seth Seth is an older vampire who wants Aaron to take over doing a job he got bored of.
	Darkfire/Mr. Tamura The head of this band of supernatural mercenaries.
	Sasha Kitt Sasha is werewolf who would really like Seth to fall into a manhole and die.
	Kimaya Kimaya is an ice demon who is using this job to indulge her passing interest in how humans behave.
	Loki Loki is a big brute vampire who has a system of logic that does not quite follow everyone elses.
