As you can see From Scratch is now taking preorders. The preorder bar includes cost of printing, paying Jose for his time and buying a barcode. Jose and I will be signing and sketching in all the books preordered and this is the only time to grantee you’ll get both of us to sign it. Joe won’t be at most of the cons I’m selling it at so it will be hard to grab him. Also, for the preorders only all shipping (including over seas) is free. So you’re highly encouraged to buy em.

  1. You should totally add your comic to comicHovel.com so I can save it to my faves. =]

the shipping fee is more than the comic worth for me…i dont think free shipping is good idea

  3. Kaden says:

Couple questions about the book. Guessing black and white, correct? Is it going to be the entire story when it finishes or just a part of something that will continue? Finally, can I combine the purchase with Book 1?

    Thanks

From Scratch will be black and white and be about 70 pages long. It will be the whole story. (Jose has already finished drawing and it’s all uploaded to the site. Last page goes up April 20th). At this time I’m not doing combined purchases because book 1 will be here soon and From Scratch will either be out by July or if Preorders aren’t quick enough right before Christmas. So I while in the future I’ll have by them at the same time, right now to get book 1 out to people faster I’m not.

Back and work work work

Hey all,

Back from Stumptown. It was a blast!

Now I’ve been away so I haven’t had a change to say anything on here, but I did a short comic for the anthology Smut Peddler. It’s comic porn all draw by women. It’s fully funded but the higher the funding goes the more of a bonus payment I get. Because of this I’ve donated some of my originals pages to this the kickstarter. They are very nice looking and my story is about two scientists strained on a forest planet.

Updates and Stumptown

Hey all,

Now that I’m not buried in Cautionary Fables and Fairy Tales books orders (sent out about 300 this week) or in the middle of cons, I got time to post an update. Reminder that Sorcery 101 is only updating on Mondays because I’m drawing a kids book series and I’m getting all redos done by the end of the year.

Now if you need some supernatural comics to fill the void you should check out Alabaster: Wolves. I’ve read the first issue of 5. The art is lovely and drawn by Steve Lieber. The main character is a monster hunter guided by a seraph. It takes place near Savannah and both the art and writing set a nice eerie mood. The first issue just came out recently. It deserves your support!

Also, I’ll be at Stumptown the end of this month. Table b-25 with my former classmate Meredith McClaren.
