Where is Kel at ECCC

So I am currently at Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle! Mostly I’ll be at table 310! I’ll have all my books there plus a new Adventure Time issue I’m in!

But I’m also on two panels! Both are Friday so come see the following

How to Run A Comic Anthology and Not Screw It Up
Room: Hall G (TCC 305)
Date: Friday, March 27th
Time: 1:10PM – 2:00PM
Moderator: Kel McDonald

Guest(s): Kel McDonald, Sfé R. Monster
Join Kel McDonald (Cautionary Fables and Fairy Tales), Spike Trotman (Smut Peddler), Sfé R. Monster (Beyond), and Taneka Stotts (Full Circle) as they go over running various independent comic anthologies. We talk about how we select stories, keep up with artists, and make sure all our i’s are dotted and t’s are crossed. This panel will also include information on how these projects were funded and how we market our current and future books.

And then shortly after:

Behind the Scenes: Making Comics
Room: Hall C (TCC 301)
Date: Friday, March 27th
Time: 3:00PM – 3:50PM
Moderator: Sierra Hahn

Guest(s): Colleen Coover, Kelly Fitzpatrick, Kel McDonald, Gail Simone, Joëlle Jones
Comics professionals come together to discuss their unique contributions to this beloved medium. Topics include creating engaging characters with Gail Simone (Leaving Megalapolis), transitioning from artist to writer/artist with Joëlle Jones (Lady Killer), business management with Christine Mignola (Hellboy), going from self-publishing to book deal with Colleen Coover (Bandette), breaking into coloring with Kelly Fitzpatrick (Neverboy), and fostering a fan base with online content with Kel McDonald (Misfits of Avalon). Sure to be a great panel for the budding cartoonist eager to explore the craft of making comics!

Then I will be signing at the Darkhorse booth Sunday at 3!
