Back and work work work
Hey all,
Back from Stumptown. It was a blast!
Now I’ve been away so I haven’t had a change to say anything on here, but I did a short comic for the anthology Smut Peddler. It’s comic porn all draw by women. It’s fully funded but the higher the funding goes the more of a bonus payment I get. Because of this I’ve donated some of my originals pages to this the kickstarter. They are very nice looking and my story is about two scientists strained on a forest planet.

Updates and Stumptown
Hey all,
Now that I’m not buried in Cautionary Fables and Fairy Tales books orders (sent out about 300 this week) or in the middle of cons, I got time to post an update. Reminder that Sorcery 101 is only updating on Mondays because I’m drawing a kids book series and I’m getting all redos done by the end of the year.
Now if you need some supernatural comics to fill the void you should check out Alabaster: Wolves. I’ve read the first issue of 5. The art is lovely and drawn by Steve Lieber. The main character is a monster hunter guided by a seraph. It takes place near Savannah and both the art and writing set a nice eerie mood. The first issue just came out recently. It deserves your support!
Also, I’ll be at Stumptown the end of this month. Table b-25 with my former classmate Meredith McClaren.

That sound you heard is the other shoe dropping.
Panic attack for $300, Alex.
…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..Is it just me or does Danny’s life suck? Almost every story arc in this entire comic has him getting screwed over.
Also seeing as Danny is still alive it looks like Seth isn’t dead yet. (or it takes time for the blood bond to die after the master does… but I don’t think that’s how it works.)
Ether way looks like Danny has to help Seth now… sence he needs him to live.
Like we thought.
Precision F-strike FTW!
We’ve got another problem: Frost. This means Danny can’t kill Frost either or Trish dies
Why would Danny want to kill frost in the first place? Even if he wanted to “free” her she would lose her indefinant life span.
Bottom line Danny has 0 of a motive to kill frost… he’d sooner kill Seth then frost (that is… before the new information he just got).
I seriously doubt danny could kill Frost even if he tried.
Ooh, ouch, good point.
And a very happy Monday to you too Danny.
he must be annoyed, now he actually has to concern himself over Seth’s wellbeing.
…well, shit
Stake him. And leave him in the basement.
Reverse the curse. Reverse the curse. Time for some mischief, sorcery, and maybe… a little bit of fan service. Wonder if they will need to keep Seth ‘on ice’ till he gets all better?
You know, this really sucks for Danny. But you know, I remember once in an Ask Danny where Seth was asked why have Danny as a blood bond if he’s useless. To this, Seth replied that his uselessness isn’t necessarily permanent. I’m assuming this would be the time for Danny to live up to his expectations. Either that or somehow undo the blood bond before he keels over.
COuldn’t they just drink pat’s blood (assuming that is a: the way bloodbonds are made and b: that he is powerfull enough) or ask loki real nice if power is the issue? It might not work bacuase seth is super powerfull or a bloodbond cannot switch masters (seems unlikly) but in any case still woth a shot, or figure out what was done to Seth and keep him in eternal Torpor.
whoa. shit’s getting heavy…
Could it be the occasion for Danny to send the lift back to Seth and save him. That would mess his little games pretty seriously (assuming that he will even care). Anyway, if Seth dies, he won’t be the only one to follow.
Just wanted to say I really dig this comic.
I especially like Seth. He’s such a wonderfully grey moral character.
I honestly wonder if maybe the benefits the vampire gets from a blood bond extend to things like, oh, say, keeping the vampires weaknesses from being quite so lethal?
Danny dies. End of series.
